Find Your Name
Visit vet.domains (opens in a new tab) and type the name you want into the search box.
If the name is available, you can move on to registration.
Register Your Name
Each domain comes with an annual fee, payable in VET or USD. Vechain X-Nodes holders can register for free once a year.
VET Registration
Registering with VET involves two steps:
- A secret code linked to the name you want to register is saved on the blockchain through a transaction.
This step prevents others from registering your name before you do, especially when your registration process is visible in the public transaction pool. - Complete the registration by making a VET payment that mentions the secret code from the first step. Your name will then immediately become an NFT in your wallet.
USD Registration
Registering with USD is done through a payment partner and involves three steps:
- Confirm your payment intention by signing with the wallet you're currently logged in with. This verifies you own the wallet. You'll then be sent to a payment partner for the next steps.
- Finish the payment with the partner and you will be redirected back to vet.domains.
- After returning, the payment partner will notify us of the successful payment, and your name will be registered. Once the registration is complete, you'll be directed to your new name's profile page.
