Subdomains

💡

Subdomains are currently being developed. Although the basic principles will remain the same, how they are managed will evolve.

Any .vet-name manager can create subdomains.

Initially, the person who creates a subdomain will also own it, just like with the main domain. After creation, you can handle subdomains just like any .vet-name.

However, there are some limits on who can own them, how they can be extended, and they can't be used for websites at the moment.

Subdomains can be useful for:

  1. Giving a unique identity to a group
  2. Making contract references for dApp deployments easier to verify
