Verification

Verification

Verified by vet.domains is a service that proves an address belongs to a human.

How to Get Verified

Verification is available for everyone with a VeChain wallet at vet.domains/verify (opens in a new tab).

This verification process is managed by a trusted service provider (sumsub (opens in a new tab)), which ensures that the verification is valid legal adult and prevents the use of bots or multiple identities. If you attempt to verify with a different wallet, you must first remove your previous verification.

vet.domains will record a marker on the blockchain to indicate your verified status for your address. Rest assured, no personal information is shared or stored on the blockchain.

What Data is Collected During Verification

During verification, sumsub collects personal information that proves human identity. More details about the data processing at sumsub are available at sumsub.com/privacy-notice-service (opens in a new tab).

What is Stored on the Blockchain

In a smart contract, the following information is documented:

  1. A wallet address
  2. A randomly generated ID of your verification
  3. A marker (yes/no) representing the successful completion of the process

No other data is stored online or made publicly available.

How to Remove Verification

Once verified, you can remove your verification at vet.domains/verify (opens in a new tab). This action removes all information and allows for a new verification on a different address.

How to Switch Wallets

Once verified, you must remove the verification from your current address before verifying another address.

If you no longer have access to the previously verified address, please complete the verification process on the new address. If you receive a rejection due to duplicate verification, contact us with both wallet addresses via email at [email protected] to swap the verifications.
